Big news in the Myachi world came in the other day. Looks like Myachi is going to be breaking into yet another continent (this makes 4).
All the details aren't in yet, but it looks like a major retailer in Australia is going to be bringing Myachi into the land of kangaroos, crocodiles and things so dangerous that even their shadows are poisonous. We figured that if somebody had to go to a place with the world's most poisonous snakes, scorpions, spiders, lizards and jellyfish it might as well be our good friend Kid Myach.
By law, all mentions of Australia must be accompanied by a picture of the Sydney Opera House. |
I joke of course. Any of us would love to have gotten the assignment but Kid is the king of the Trade Show floor and since we need somebody for a Trade Show he's the perfect choice. I envy him the trip but not the travel. If I'm not mistaken the flight to Australia and back is about 4 months round trip and when you're 6 foot 5 airplane seats leave a little to be desired.
But of course, the larger story is the fact that Myachi is about to break ground in Australia. This is pretty exciting. There have already been some Australian readers on this blog (2 of them) so the game isn't completely unknown there, but we're hoping to ignite the place like never before.
Right now I have very little in the way of details but I'll keep everyone posted as more info comes in. I'm also looking forward to a chance to toss some Australian stores up on the Myachi Locator Map.
So everyone wish Kid Myach safe travels and good luck. He'll be gone for about a week and a half (92% of that is travel time, I think) and he's got a couple of days to brush up on his Australian vernacular. I'm helping. I uploaded a ton of of Foster's commercials for him to study.
