Myachi Writing Contest - 2nd Place

I've gotta say that if nothing else this contest has made my day of blogging really easy.  I'm a little early with the announcement, but there's a meeting at the House of Skills tonight and I'm afraid that if I don't post this now I won't get a chance.  After all the delays, I'm thinking you'd rather we get this up early that get it up late.

This was a really fun (if not particularly humble) entry that I think you'll really enjoy:

WHY I PLAY MYACHI

by Big Daddy Myach

There are so many reasons why I play myachi. But I am going to narrow it down to 3. These reasons are competition, athleticism, and the all around fun of it. The first that I will talk about is competition.

Myach is all about competing against your opponent and that is something that I enjoy. Beating the pants off your opponent and rubbing it in their face. My lax coach says, "Compete, compete, compete, play as hard as you physically can, competition is every thing. " This relates to myachi in that you have to compete, or you can never win.

The second main reason why I play myachi is that it requires incredible athleticism. You have to be an athlete and have such skills, as flexibility or strength/focus. You need to be able to learn and adapt to the circumstances. Learn your opponent, and if your down a few letters and you need to play your turn well, do not go for the homeroom move, just do something that your going to hit 4 out of 5 times. Be flexible, hit a super yoga or something else, if you can't than you are going to be finished. Athleticism is a key factor and my incredible athleticism makes me a "sick-nasty" beast. ( yes I am very modest :)

The final reason why I play myachi is the all around greatness of it. Myachi is very useful, light, and accessible. It can be done anywhere and on the spot. Even if you are in a bad mood just jam those feelings out. I can jam where ever, when ever, whether it's during class ( secretly of course ) or out in the park. I can always jam. An amaing example of this is when I go to Philmont Scout Ranch, in Arizona. Where I will embark on an 80 mile hike. ( Boy Scouts ) one thing I will make sure to not forget is my Red Line jammer. It will be nice to have something to do with my hands. That is a great reason why I play Myachi.

In conclusion, Myachi is everything. It makes the world go round (figuratively of course). It requires skill athleticism and an all around focus. It is so easy to learn, as in completely worth the time of breaking in a sack or beating Red Bull at MYACH. It is so accessible and I am grateful I found it. I be jammin’
