Announcing Another Art Contest!

As you all know by now, we love to keep the creative juices flowing in the Myachi World so no sooner do we finish up with one artistic contest than we announce another.  This one will be a bit different though.  This time we're looking for something (a) topical and (b) funny.

Humor will be the deciding factor in this contest so even if you don't have a ton of artistic skill, you'll still have a good chance at winning.  So your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to send us a picture of Animal and Maverick in Australia.

I know, I know... you don't have a picture of Animal and Maverick in Australia.  Neither do I.  That's why we're going to have to get creative.

For this contest, you can use any medium you want.  You can photoshop the cartoons into a picture of Australia, you can draw your own version, you can crop them out of actual photographs, you can cut them out with scissors and set them on top of a copy of Crocodile Dundee... whatever you want.  The goal is to create a picture of what you think Animal and Mav might be doing in Australia and make it as funny as you can.

As always, there are rules:

• All entries must be received by Friday, April 29th.  Winners will be announced on Saturday, April 30th.
• You may enter as many times as you'd like.  The more you enter (obviously) the more chances you have to win.
• Entries that contain obscene or offensive words or images will not be considered.
• Winners will be decided by a panel of Myachi Masters.  All judge's decisions are final.
• Employees of Myachi and their immediate relatives are not eligible to win.
• All entries become the property of Myachi Industries and can be used for any purpose in the future.

And, of course, there are also prizes:

• 1st Place is going to be (are you sitting down?  No, please... sit down) a THEATRIX Myachi, normally available only by actually going all the way to Australia.
• 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive a 5.0 Myachi of their choice.

Remember, creativity is the key!  What we want is an image that says (a) Myachi and (b) Australia.  It doesn't even have to have Animal or Mav in it.  It could also be a picture of what you think will be the "aftermath" of introducing Myachi to the outback.  A wallabee throwing down a Clipper Delay, for example, wouldn't have Mav in the picture, but it would certainly suggest that he had been there.

I'll be posting a few of my own pics over the next few days just to give everyone a clearer idea of what we're looking for, but you don't need to wait for me.  If you'd like to enter the contest, just send your picture to me at crazyivan@myachi.com or leave it on our FB page.  You've got more than 2 weeks to make it happen so get your brains and your funny bones warmed up!
