Welcome Back Kid Myach!

by Crazy Ivan

As I type, Kid Myach is in the air a hemisphere away in two directions, slowly making his way back to the states.  Actually, he's making his way pretty quickly.  As near as I can tell he'll be moving at some 600 mph over the pacific right now on the long flight home from Australia.

He was there for a little over two weeks and the event was so successful that he'll be heading back in the spring... or the fall depending on which continent you're on.  We can tell that he's been rocking out while he was there by the sudden spike in Facebook like's and blog readers from down under and we never get sick of seeing Myachi blow up in other continents.

All that being said, we'll be happy to have Kid back.  Not only will he add his unique, loudly echoing step back to the mix of noises at the House of Skills, but he'll be back to pick up his share of the workload once more.  I've been trying to do his job and my own for a couple of weeks and it's resulted in way more 12 and 14 hour days than my body can handle.

But I have to remind myself that as the company grows, this will more and more often be the case.  The job of a Myachi Master has always been pretty travel intensive even if the last couple of years haven't really shown it.  The last few years where we all lived in a house and stayed in one city is really the exception rather than the rule.  Before we moved into the House of Skills I'd had 14 addresses in 5 years.

All that being said, we don't want Kid to start thinking them Aussies like him better than we do, so if you're friends with Kid on Facebook, do us a favor and swamp him with welcome home messages.  You can also send your well-wishes to him at kidmyach@myachi.com or you can send it via carrier pigeon to 40° 42' 58" North, 73° 51' 0" West.
