Head's up one and all. Animal will be joining the thus far rather narrow authorship of the Myachi Blog beginning tomorrow. He will be penning (okay, typing) a feature called "Ask Animal" in which he will field questions from all over Myachidom about anything and everything Myachi related.
This will be a weekly feature and it will go up every Tuesday. Except today, of course, because it will be up on Wednesday. But after this week it will be so precise that you can set your calendar by it.
Of course, you have a part to play in this as well. If you have a question for Animal about anything Myachi related, send it to him at animal@myachi.com or send it to me at aaron@myachi.com or crazyivan@myachi.com or you can even post it as a comment on the previous Ask Animal entries. Of course, to do this, you'll have to wait until tomorrow because until then there won't be any previous "Ask Animal" entries.
The questions we're looking for are any that you think might be of general interest. He'll be starting the column off by tackling a question I was emailed the other day; "How to tricks get named?". You can be as specific or as general as you like with your question, though. Want to know why or when a certain feature was added to the package? Want to know why one sack is more valuable than another? Want to know where a move or Myachi name came from? Animal is your man.
When sending us e-mails, please be sure to put "Ask Animal" in the subject line so that it doesn't accidentally get rerouted into some random spam file. We're hoping that the response will be so overwhelming that Animal will have to start doing two or three posts a week (and give my fingers some much needed time off), but he can only do that if you make with the questions.
Of course, there's one other crucial part you have to play in this whole thing. Animal is a temperamental guy and to keep him coming back and writing ever more awesome blogs, we need to make sure that the "Ask Animal" entries get huge readership. Starting tomorrow, make sure you read his blogs at least three times. Sharing them on Facebook, Twitter and any other social sharing site you frequent will help as well. Also, don't forget to click on the little check box below to let him know if you like it by voting it as "cool", "funny" or "informative" as the case may be.
